DURAN DURAN
GLAM POP PARTY
1981-2006

Two authors in their early thirties put together passion and documents for the first Italian biography book about Duran Duran. The history of the most famous group of the second British Invasion, that big wave of mid-80´s pop artists who conquered the world, is full of fascinating anecdotes and surprising encounters. That is why the story told here is more like an unpredictable party. The 14 chapters take us on a journey throughout Duran Duran discography, flavored with exclusive memories of those who were lucky enough to work or be witness of the tremendous success of the "Fab Five". It was a time when Lady D went to see them playing live, Andy Warhol wanted to photograph them and Madonna sneaked into their backstage to check a glimpse of the celebrity circuit that surrounded them. On the background of the narration, Italy and the special fidelity relationship between the band and the country that loves them most.
